Meet Alyshia
(They/Them)
Alyshia is a multi-disciplinary artist with a focus on whimsical and fantastical characters and worlds. Rather than pursing a singular medium, Alyshia feels compelled by ideas and narratives, and adopts the skills needed to bring their vision to reality.

Alyshia is primarily self-taught, but has tertiary education experience in sculpture, textiles, writing, and sound design. They're been painting since they were 18, cosplaying since they were 14, and drawing since they were 5 (examples not featured in portfolio).

Alyshia is currently undertaking further study at Massey University (Wellington) as well as various courses through Stan Winston's School of Character Arts, with an aim to develop skills in prosthetic and creature work.
